What is "True" Self Defense?
True Self Defense, simply stated, is avoiding conflict if you can or dealing with conflict without the use
of physical force, if it cannot be avoided. Evans Kempo Karate teaches a peace-based martial arts
program in which the student learns that the highest level of self-defense has nothing to do with how
well you can beat someone up.
